Information on the use of cookies – pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016
Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 and art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, in compliance with the Guidelines of 10 June 2021, this information describes the methods of use of cookies and other tracking tools adopted by the website, as well as the methods through which the user can manage their preferences.
"Cookies" are text strings that the sites visited send to the user's device, where they are stored before being retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. The term also includes similar technologies such as local storage, pixel tags, web beacons, or equivalent tools.
1. Technical Cookies
The site uses technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the platform, for managing the browsing session, for system security, for traffic balancing, and for storing any preferences expressed by the user (for example, language or technical settings).
These cookies do not require the user's consent as they are essential for providing the requested service. The legal basis for the processing is the Data Controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the site (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f, GDPR).
Technical cookies can be session cookies (automatically deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies, which last only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose.
2. Analytics cookies
The site may use analytics cookies to collect statistical information on site usage and improve the services offered.
If these cookies are configured to collect exclusively aggregated and anonymized data, without the possibility of identifying the user, without combining them with other data, and without transmitting them to third parties for further purposes, they are treated as technical cookies and do not require consent.
If, however, they allow the user to be identified, even indirectly, or are combined with additional information, their installation is subject to the user's prior consent.
3. Profiling and marketing cookies
With the user's prior consent, the site may use profiling and marketing cookies aimed at analyzing browsing behavior, creating user profiles—including through pseudonymous identifiers—and offering personalized content or communications.
The legal basis for the processing is the express consent pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR. a GDPR and art. 122 of the Privacy Code.
Failure to consent does not affect the ability to browse the site.
4. Third-party cookies
If the site uses third-party cookies, these may be installed on the user's device by parties external to the Data Controller. In such cases, the site collects consent for installation, while the subsequent processing of the data is carried out by the third party as an independent controller, in accordance with the provisions of their respective privacy and cookie policies.
The user is invited to consult the third-party policies for detailed information on their processing methods.
5. Transfer of data to third-party countries
If the use of third-party cookies involves the transfer of data to countries outside the European Union, such transfer takes place in compliance with the guarantees provided for by articles. 44 et seq. of the GDPR, through adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other suitable legal instruments.
6. Management of preferences and withdrawal of consent
6.1 Managing cookies via browser
The user can also manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, which allow them to view existing cookies, delete them, or block their installation.
The main browsers allow you to configure different settings for:
• first-party cookies;
• third-party cookies;
• automatic deletion when the browser is closed.
It should be noted that disabling strictly necessary technical cookies could compromise the correct functioning of the site or limit some features.
Disabling profiling or third-party cookies could affect the availability of personalized content or the integration of external services.
It remains possible to modify or revoke the consent given at any time through the specific preference management tool on the site.
